You are cordially invited to the inaugural Hari Raya Charity Day by Suria Bangsar South, a community centre operated by Soroptimist International Club of Bangsar (SICB) and sponsored by UOA Group. In conjunction with the Raya festive celebration this year, the single mothers from Kampung Kerinchi will be selling their homemade cakes, cookies, tarts as well as handmade crafts at
the event. The
food and gift showcase is a representation of the single mothers’
fruits of labour following their active participation in various skill
development programmes organised by Suria Bangsar South. The programmes,
which include sewing, beading, baking and cooking classes are aimed at
proactively guiding the single mothers toward a better future. All proceeds from the sales will be channeled to the single mothers for the betterment of their livelihood. So, bring along your colleagues, families and friends to join in the fun!
